The Sithi Blog is focused on sharing information about human rights in Cambodia: new reports and publications, events of note, awareness-raising and advocacy campaigns, and more. Blog posts are written by a wide variety of contributors, from Cambodian civil society and others who are interested in contributing to the discourse on human rights in Cambodia. Topics include the breadth of human rights issues, from land rights, to freedom of expression, to corporate social responsibility, to women’s and children’s rights, to LGBT rights, to judicial reform – and any other issue you can think of!
The Sithi Blog is a sub-project of the Cambodian Human Rights Web Portal, Sithi.org. Both Sithi.org and the Sithi Blog are maintained by the Cambodian Center for Human Rights (CCHR), with the generous support of our donors. Articles posted on our old Sithi Blog have been archived here.

CCHR is a leading non-aligned, independent, non-governmental organization that works to promote and protect democracy and respect for human rights – primarily civil and political rights – in Cambodia. We empower civil society to claim its rights and drive change; and through detailed research and analysis we develop innovative policy, and advocate for its implementation.
You can find out more about CCHR on our website. Information about how you can get involved with and support CCHR and the Sithi Blog – including information on internships and volunteer opportunities, how to donate to CCHR, and more – is available here.
The views and opinions expressed on this blog are those of the individual authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of CCHR.
